Adelaide Soriente Funeral Mass is Saturday Adelaide Soriente (nee DiMarco), 95, of Bayville, N.J., passed away on July 26, 2017. The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union, N.J., on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday at St. James Church in Springfield, N.J., at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J. Adelaide was one of 12 children born to her parents, the late Rocco DiMarco and Giovanna (nee Nasta). She was the wife of the late Alfonse; beloved mother of Michael A. and Raymond G.; and loving sister of Catherine Castellano and Anna Martin. She was also the grandmother of Matthew, Sara, and Gabriel, and great-grandmother of Lyra. They were all the light of her life. Adelaide was predeceased by nine of her brothers and sisters. Del, as she was known by her family and friends, was very aware of all her blessings in life, and willing to share these blessings with those in need. A Mass will be said in honor of Adelaide at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Bayville, N.J. 08721 on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, at 8 a.m. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to Golden Givers Sonata Bay, 5 Wharfside Way, Bayville, N.J. 08721.
