January 20, 1928 - June 19, 2017 Alice Furuya was born on January 20, 1928 in Stockton, California. She was a one-time resident of Los Angeles near Marina Del Rey and of Rosemead. At the time of her death on June 19, 2017, she was a resident at the Silverado Huntington in Alhambra. She is survived by her husband James (Jim) Furuya; sisters Pearl, Jean, and Setsuko Matsusaka; sister-in-law Helen (Ben) Hara; and nieces Valerie Hara Uyeda and Renae Kishimoto. A private family burial service will be held with Rev. Mas Hibino officiating.
