Ane Balle Andersen Asper, 79, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
Born April 20,1938 to Julius and Margrethe Balle Andersen in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Ane was raised in Denmark to the age of 10 at which time her family immigrated to the United States where they made their home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Graduated from West High and attended LDS Business College.
Married Alfred Norman Asper in the Salt Lake Temple June 9, 1959. Later divorced.
Ane's true love was always her family.
She loved her Danish heritage and shared it often.
She served faithfully in whatever capacity to which she was called in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by sons; Ricky J Asper (Cheryl), Salt Lake City; Mark W Asper (LeAnne), Salina, Utah; and daughter Connie Muir (ElRay) Salt Lake City, Utah; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Borge B. Andersen.
A funeral service will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Monument Park Ward, 1005 South 20th East, Salt Lake City. Visitors may call Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 11:00 to 12:30.
