1942-2017
Ben J. Pinto, of Washington, entered into glory on May 17, 2017. Friends are invited to attend a visitation and Rosary from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, Sunday, May 21st at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 17320 Sweed Rd, Washington, TX 77880. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 PM, Monday, May 22nd at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. There will be a private family burial at a later date.
Ben was born July 24, 1942 in Houston, TX, the son of James B. Pinto, Sr. and Kathryn Butera Pinto. He was a graduate of St. Thomas High School and the University of Houston. Ben was a loving husband of 55 years and a devoted family man. He had many talents and interests, including baseball coach, carpenter, vintner, equestrian, actor, collector, chef and a CPA of 45 years.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents; he leaves behind to cherish his memory a loving family including, wife Gail Guinn Pinto; daughter, Frances Pinto Caron; sons, Ben J. Pinto, Jr. & wife Amy, Brian K. Pinto & wife Lori; brothers, James B. Pinto & wife Mary, Don Pinto & wife Susan; grandchildren, Beth Price & husband Conner, Cory Caron, Emily Pinto, Haley Caron, Hannah Pinto, and Seth Pinto; Many nieces, nephews, cousins; as well as a devoted pet, Molly.
