Angelina Venturi Lived in Newark and Toms River, 96 Angelina Venturi (nee DiTrolio), 96, of Newark, N.J., and Toms River, N.J., passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017, in Brighton Gardens in West Orange, N.J. The visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m., at the LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, N.J. The funeral will commence at the funeral home on Monday, May 22, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:45 a.m., in St. Rose of Lime Church, and entombment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, both in East Hanover, N.J. Born and raised in Newark, Angelina resided in Toms River from 1980 until two years ago, when she went to Fairfield, N.J., to live with her daughter, Judy Baldi. She was a Yankees fan at heart who also loved playing cards and bingo. She worked as a cashier for Garfield School in Newark for 15 years before retiring to Toms River. Angelina was predeceased by her husband, John B. Venturi; parents, Enrichetta (nee Russomanno) and Nicola DiTrolio; a brother, Joseph DiTrolio, and a sister, Christine Maass. She is survived her loving daughters, Judy and her husband, Rocco Baldi. and Angela and her husband. Dr. Vincent Castellano; dear sister-in-law, Josephine Venturi; cherished grandchildren, Vincent Baldi and his wife, Inez; John Baldi and his wife, Kelly; Vincent Castellano and his wife, Caitlyn, and Christie Barry and her husband, Douglas, and great-grandchildren, Jack and Lily Baldi.
