Caroline M. Jolly Retired as Kean University director of alumni affairs Caroline M. Jolly, 68, of Linden, N.J., passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, N.J. Visitation will be at Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, N.J., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be from the funeral home on Monday at 10 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. John the Apostle Church. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, N.J. Born in Elizabeth, N.J., Caroline lived there until moving to Linden in 1974. She worked as the director of alumni affairs at Kean University for 28 years before retiring. Caroline was a longtime parishioner of St. John the Apostle Church and was an avid traveler. She especially enjoyed visiting the national parks, and had a love for gardening and the outdoors. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Marie Vetterer. She is survived by her two sons, James J. and Michael J.; her sister, Evelyn Stanislawczyk (Paul), and her four cherished grandchildren, Sydney, Emma, Carter, and Kristen.
