Adolph (Al) Robert Dockus7-11-1942 - 5-7-2017After a long battle with cancer, Al died in his home in San Francisco, California on May 7, 2017.

Born in Chicago, Illinois July 11, 1942 to Adolph and Sophie Dockus, Al served as a Federal Investigator for more than 30 years followed by investigative work for Travelers Insurance Fraud and the State of California Chiropractic Board for another 10 years.

He was a lover of sports; particularly a devoted fan of Chicago teams, and was curious and interested in different cultures and people; traveling to about 40 countries with his wife throughout their 50 years of marriage.

Al is survived by his wife, Marialice, daughters Lisa and Amy, son John, grandchildren Maria and Nicholas Putnam, sister Linda (Terry Vorderer).
He is preceded in death by his brother Richard (Dorlene) and his sister Eileen (William Holahan, deceased).

A Celebration of Life will be held in Chicago on his birthdate at a location
to be determined.
