GRI¥ÁN, ADELAIDA DE ARMAS, of Coral Gables, Florida passed away and joined her beloved husband, Ma¤o, on May 4, 2017 at the age of 74. Adelaida (Tuti) Gri¤ n de Armas, the elder of two children, was born on August 22, 1942 in Havana, Cuba to Dolores Gutierrez Falla and Mario de Armas. She attended the Colegio de Sagrado Corazon in Havana, Cuba and Miss Porter's School in Farmington, Connecticut. In 1960, Tuti moved with her parents and sister, Lola, to Miami, and married Mariano Gri¤ n Herrera on August 28, 1968. Tuti lived a life full of laughter, love, and family. She was a true artist at heart and had a smile that could light a room and hearts alike. She enjoyed reading, gardening, painting, and spending time with her loved ones especially her son,Felipe, and granddaughter, Addison, as they were the center of her world and brought her great joy. Additionally, she cherished her friends. She would move mountains to help those in need. Tuti was beloved by all, and her grace and dignity will be missed. Adelaida was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Mariano (Ma¤o) Gri¤ n Herrera. She is survived by her son and his wife, Felipe Mariano Gri¤an (Alison Wood Gri¤ n), her granddaughter, Addison Elena Gri¤ n, her sister and brother-in-law, Lola Solis de Armas (Carlos Solis), her nephews, Alex Solis and Brad Solis, and the most amazing group of primos one could hope for. A memorial service will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church at 1400 Miller Road, Coral Gables 33146 on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 1:30 pm.
