Gilbert; two daughters, Cheryl Gilbert-Robinson and Lisa McCrea Barnes; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Esther Gilbert Hamilton; one brother, Authur Gilbert; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m., until time of service at 12 noon on Wednesday, May 3 at Pope Funeral Home, 5538 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, MD. Interment Harmony Memorial Park.
