ALAN LEWIS BORTNICK (Age 69)  
On Monday, April 24, 2017, ALAN LEWIS BORTNICK of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Potomac, MD. Alan, a lifelong Washingtonian, was born in 1948 and was a devoted and beloved family man. He is survived by his three sons, Joshua (Penny), Danny (Shannon) and Paul (Alix) Bortnick; six grandchildren, Dylan, Jonah, Jenna, Brooke, Judah and Presley; three siblings, Marcia (Stewart) Sherman and Bruce (Robin) and Gary (Debby) Bortnick; and partner, Fran Wollmann. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017, 11 a.m., at B'nai Israel Congregation, 6301 Montrose Rd., Rockville, MD. Interment following at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, Clarksburg, MD. After the interment, Shiva will be observed at Lakewood Country Club from 3 to 9 p.m., with minyan at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, Shiva will be observed at the home of Josh and Penny from 5 to 9 p.m. with minyan at 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. with minyan at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to , a charity dear to Alan's heart.
