Aaron Nathan Baumgarten

Faleceu

December 18, 1922 - April 15, 2017 Aaron Baumgarten was born in New York City and lived a wonderful life full of love and joy for 94 years. He passed away peacefully on April 15, 2017 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Frances, son, Alan, daughter-in-law, Margaret-Anne, son-in-law, Kevin Maifeld, and two grandsons, Aidan and Sam. His daughter, Sharon, passed away in 2015 and is dearly missed. Aaron served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in Alaska during World War II before moving to Los Angeles where he eventually started his own insurance agency. There was no way to adequately express Aaron's love of travel - he had an endless curiosity about people and he travelled the world over, always looking forward to his next adventure. He loved film, art, politics, music, baseball and pastrami, though not necessarily in that order. Aaron volunteered with Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic for many years and was also a longtime supporter of the ACLU. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the ACLU or another organization of your choice.
