Dave LinnDave Linn, of Ellensburg, Washington, died of cancer in Bellingham on March 14, 2017 at age 60. Born in Napa, CA, Dave served as a social justice attorney, anti-war activist and poet. During the 1980s he organized with the Oakland Tenants Union, the Peace and Freedom Party, and wrote for Grassroots, an independent Berkeley newspaper. Dave is survived by his partner Maria, his daughter Autumn and Lucita his granddaughter, his father Abe and sister Judi. His mother Terri and brother Jeff, passed away shortly before his death.
A Bay Area memorial service will be held next Sunday, May 21st at Mariposa Grove Co-Housing, 828 59th St., Oakland, 4-7pm. Donations may be made to: youcaring.com
