Andrew "Andy" E. Martinez passed away peacefully to his Lord and Savior on March 2, 2017 in Reno, Nevada. He is the beloved son of Eloy (Marty) and Josephine Martinez Andy was born on October 20, 1952 in Leadville, Colorado.
Andy was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah he attended West High School and the University of Utah. He was an extraordinary athlete and exceled in baseball and billiards. He is known for his love of baseball and his eclectic taste in music. Andy lived a fearless and passionate life, and was loved by all who knew him.
Andy was the successful owner of Payless Gutters & Siding, Inc. in Reno, Nevada since 1986. Andy is survived by; his parents Eloy (Marty) and Josephine, his children Stacey Martinez-Ajax (Sean), Andrew R. Martinez, grandchildren Noah Tullos, Jacob Martinez, sisters Linda R. Morgan and Susan Martinez, nephew Jason Morgan, and other extended family.
A celebration of Andy's incredible life and Rosary will be held at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South Salt Lake City, Utah 84111 on Saturday April 22, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm.
