Amparo "Nancy" Flores January 22, 1931 – April 1, 2017Passed away peacefully on April 1, 2017 at the age of 86. Amparo was born in Tamazula, Jalisco, Mexico. The youngest of eight children born to Cliserio and Marta Carrillo. As a young woman she married and moved to the U.S. She was the devoted mother of Francisco and Louis Flores. 22 year member of Confectionary Union Local 158, Daly City (Crocker neighborhood) activist, and animal lover. She also was active with three senior citizen clubs and enjoyed gardening.
Friends may visit Monday April 10, 2017 from 4:00pm – 9:00pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00am at Mission Dolores Basilica, corner of 16th and Dolores Streets, San Francisco. Internment Holy Cross Cemetery.
