Alice Emrick Mass is on Saturday Alice Emrick of Scotch Plains, N.J., and formerly of Westfield, N.J. - a loving mother, grandmother, and friend - passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Remembrance at The Holy Trinity Church, 315 1st St. in Westfield on Saturday, March 4, at 11 a.m. Alice was born in New York City, where she worked as an executive assistant, and later on as a clerk in the Township of Westfield tax department. Alice was an avid gardener, reader, swimmer, and walker who loved life and the many people she met along her way. Alice was predeceased by loving husband, John Emrick, and son, Dennis Emrick. She was the loving mother of Susan Nizolak of Scotch Plains, and Robert Emrick of Boulder, Colo. She was also the cherished grandmother of Daniel and Scott Nizolak and Molly and Brad Emrick.
