Aleksandra Lana-Lucia Downs 'Sasha' 'The sweetest and happiest little girl' Aleksandra Lana-Lucia Downs, affectionately known by so many as "Sasha," a 26-month-old of Mendham, N.J., peacefully left this world on Feb. 24, 2017, at her home. The family invites friends to honor and celebrate Sasha's life with a visitation on Friday, March 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Rd. (Corner of Rt. 206), Chester, N.J. 07930, (908) 879-3090. A 1 p.m. funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4, at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately. The family requests that friends attending dress in white or light colors as Sasha would have liked. The family also requests that any flowers be in white color. Sasha was born on Dec. 15, 2014, in Morristown, N.J. Aleksandra was the loving little angel of Lilly and James Downs, and of her siblings Siena, Jenna, Jessie, and Jimmy Downs. She was also the granddaughter of Harry and Lucille Downs and Svitlana Iesipova and Aleksandr Krot, for whom she was named. Her love and her light touched a lot of hearts. She was the sweetest and happiest little girl. She will always be remembered by family and friends by her happiness that she shared with others.
