Ann Cohen Loving grandmother, business owner Ann Cohen (nee Bryce), 76, of Montclair, N.J., passed away peacefully on Feb. 3, 2017. Born and raised in Rochester, N.Y., she was an American Field Service exchange student in high school and attended the University of Rochester, as well as the Eastman School of Music Preparatory Department. Ann was co-owner of the popular downtown Montclair toy store, Toys in the Attic, and active in the Montclair Economic Development Corporation and Business Improvement District. A strong and independent woman, she was a mentor to many of her employees and potential entrepreneurs. Ann was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Pauline Bryce of Rochester; brother, Donald Bryce of Colorado Springs, Colo., and nephew, Robert S. Bryce II of Seattle, Wash. She is survived by her husband, Noal Cohen of Montclair; daughters, Ruth Nasrullah of Houston, Texas, and Claire Cohen of Montclair; granddaughters, Davina Abujudeh of Washington, D.C., and Abby Baker of Montclair, and niece, Gillian Bryce of Smoke Rise, Ga. The family requests that donations be made to the (alz.org).
