Alex Ellish Singer salesman, devoted husband, father, grandfather Mr. Alex Ellish of Roselle Park, N.J., died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, N.J. He was 78. His service will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at 10 a.m., at the Opacity Funeral Home, 511 Washington Ave., Kenilworth, N.J., with Pastor Clem Salerno officiating. Born in Elizabeth, N.J., Mr. Ellish lived there before moving to Roselle Park 14 years ago. Prior to his retirement in 2000, Mr. Ellish was employed with The Singer Sewing Machine Store in Elizabeth, N.J., as a salesman. He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Kathleen (nee Baldwin) Ellish; devoted father of Mr. Paul Stec.; cherished grandfather of Mr. Paul L. Stec and Mr. Adam T. Stec.
