February 7, 1947 - January 22, 2017 A longtime resident of Los Angeles, California, Alan died unexpectedly on January 22nd at the age of 69. Alan is survived by his daughter Alexa Greenstadt and his brother Mark Greenstadt. Alan was born in Chicago to Joseph and Sophie Greenstadt. He attended undergraduate and graduate school at UCLA where he studied business and eventually received his MBA. He was a pioneer in the early days of cable TV which ultimately led to senior executive positions in the aerospace industry. Alan was a devoted father, avid baseball player, flying enthusiast and more. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, Jan. 27 at Mount Sinai Chapel, 5950 Forest Lawn Drive, Hollywood Hills.
