DULIN, Albert Jerome Albert Jerome (Jerry) Dulin, teacher, coach, counselor and an active church member, passed from this Earth on January 18, 2017 in Plano, Texas. Jerry was born in Kansas City, Kansas to Cleda and Glen S. Dulin. He moved to Texas as a child and the Dulin family made their home in Oak Cliff where his father owned an Appliance store. He graduated from Sunset High School and attended TCU. He served in the US Army as a young man. He met and married Margaret Joan Simpson of Dallas in 1957. They have one son, Christopher. Jerry worked as a high school football coach, English teacher and guidance counsellor in several towns in Texas, including San Antonio, Richardson, and Austin. Jerry and Margaret were active members of the Hyde Park Christian Church in Austin, where he was an elder and a Stevens Minister. His love of opera and vocal performance led him to play many roles in Austin Civic Chorus productions. After 44 years of marriage, Margaret died of ALS in 2002. Jerry relocated to Allen, Texas to live with his son. Jerry was married briefly to Mary. In 2012, Jerry married Lois Houghton. Jerry is survived by his wife, Lois, his son, Chris Dulin, daughter-in-law Jennifer Dulin, grandchildren; Sean Dulin, Evan and Kelsey Dulin, and Michelle Dulin, his brothers; Glen Richard Dulin and Robert Dulin, his sister-in-law Barbara Dulin; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Visitation held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, January 25, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Service held at 3 PM, Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
