November 16, 1928 - December 28, 2016 Alberto Frederick Rochin was born to his parents,Teodora L. (Lucy) Rochin (nee´ Carrillo) and Lorenzo L. Rochin, November 16, 1928, Los Angeles, California. Albert was fifth of six children who preceded him in death: Antonio Rochin, Frank Rochin, Gloria Rochin Garcia, Richard Antonio Rochin and Jack Alfred Rochin. Albert attended Garfield High School. In 1946, he enlisted in the Army Air Core. Albert worked in the wholesale food distribution industry. He was a avid golfer, deep sea fishing enthusiast and traveled to Mexico, Spain and Portugal. Albert was a member of the Elks, American Legion and member and Golf Marshall at the Montebello Country Club and California Country Club. Upon retirement in 2003, he and his wife, Melanie relocated to the Sacramento area. He is survived by his wife, Melanie Ann Rochin (neé Healey) of 36 years, daughter, Mary Ann Rochin Young (Joshua E. Young) and two sons. Mr. Rochin is also survived by his children, Ronald G. Rochin, Yvonne, Robert A. Fleischman (Rochin) (Michelle), John Rochin, David A. Rochin (Shirley), Glenn M. Rochin, Teresa Rochin Pollard (Robert), and Regina R. Rochin. Mr. Rochin was a grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 2, uncle of 12, great uncle of 10 and great great uncle of 9 and great, great, great Uncle of 11. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 3pm at River Cities Funeral Chapel, 910 Soule Street, West Sacramento, CA, 916.371.4535.
