Albert Pierce Stennett Jr., 91, born 07/28/1925 in Pelican, LA passed away on 01/12/2017 in Crockett, TX. Al was an Army veteran during World War II. He was one of the founders of AAA Butane Company and president of the Texas LP Gas Association from 1975 to 1976. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Klein, TX. Preceded in death by his parents Albert and Victoria Stennett, brother Alfred Stennett, sister Thelma Mullenix, and nephew Wayne Stennett. Survived by his wife of 68 years Jean Stennett; daughters Gay Lovett and husband Don, Rita Wagstaff and husband Tom, Brenda Boatman and husband Shane; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm on 01/17/2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5201 Spring Cypress Road. Interment will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. For those desiring in lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to Trinity Lutheran Church.
