Alice Marie Ehrich Florham Park great-grandmother once active with Seton Hall Prep Mothers' Auxiliary, an Augustinian Recollect, 90 Alice Marie Ehrich (nee Mowbray) passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, at the age of 90 in her home in Florham Park, N.J. Visitation will be at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., today from 4 until 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Joseph's Church, 44 Benvenue Ave., West Orange, N.J., on Saturday at 11:30 a.m., followed by the entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Born in Newark, N.J., Alice was raised in East Orange, N.J., and was a past president of St. Joseph's Rosary Altar Society and the Seton Hall Mothers' Auxiliary, a charter member of the Augustinian Recollect Ministry and a member of St. Joseph's Old Timers Club. She was an avid bowler and a member of a league for many years. Alice was a devoted wife and mother and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Robert; five sons, R. Allan and wife Win (Newton) of Whippany, N.J.; David and his wife, Karen (Rose) of Pennsylvania; Douglas and his wife, Joan (Glass) of Texas; Christopher and his wife, Denise (Cassel) of Cedar Grove, N.J., and Stephen and his wife, KellyAnn (McCann) of Livingston, N.J. Mrs. Ehrich had 10 grandchildren, was predeceased by a grandson and had six great-grandchildren, and one due in April. She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Robert; two sisters, Winifred and Catherine, and is survived by two sisters, Agnes and Frances. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seton hall Preparatory School or the Visiting Nurses' Association of Somerset Hills.
