Agnes Fee

Faleceu

Agnes Brigid (Breen) FeeAgnes Brigid (Breen) Fee, our wonderful and loving mother passed on peacefully in her sleep on January 9th, 2017. She has been reunited in heaven with the love of her life of 51 years, our wonderful Dad, Frank.
Agnes was born in Toneyglaskin, Tempo, County Fermanagh, in Northern Ireland on September 5, 1925, and grew up on a small farm not far from Enniskillen with two sisters (Peggy RIP and Rosaleen) and two brothers (Philip RIP and Barney RIP).
She met and married Frank Fee in1953 and set off to America in 1957 to start a new life. She immigrated to New York with Frank and worked for the Equitable Insurance Co. In 1958, Agnes and Frank moved to San Francisco and planted their roots. Agnes worked for Libby McNeal and later with AT&T. When Philip and Eileen were born, Agnes became an expert seamstress and made slipcovers for Art Bonner Upholstery in our garage while watching over us kids.
Agnes loved San Francisco, the dances at the KRB and the many lifelong friendships that were formed. Some of her favorite things were the many card games on Rivera St. with the Fealy, Breen, Duffy, Cassidy and Gavney families. Also, the dinners with the Ulster Clubat the UICC, Irish picnics at Morton's, marching in the St. Patrick's Parade and bus trips with the S.I. Bingo gang were high points in her life.
She was an active member of the Irish community. A 50 year member of St. Gabriel Parish, who enjoyed walking to mass most mornings. She volunteered for the Irish Pastoral Center and worked/ played at St. Ignatius Bingo for 30 years. A proud member of the United Irish Cultural Center, Knights of the Red Branch, Legion of Mary, and Ulster Club. Last year, Mom moved to Clearwater, Florida to enjoy the warm weather and be cared for by Eileen. Mom and Eileen enjoyed each others company and created fond memories.
Agnes had a strong faith in God; she lived a full life and was devoted to her family and friends. Always strong and rarely wrong, we would pity the person who would challenge her.
Agnes is survived by her adoring son Philip (Jennifer), loving daughter Eileen (Malcolm), and dearest Grama to Olivia and Emily. Beloved sister to Rosaleen and loving Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Maury Kelisky (RIP), Dr. Charlton and the staff at St. Mary's Hospital for their years of friendship and excellent care. Gratitude to neighbor Pete Koch and his family for their many years of friendship and love. A life well lived, we were blessed to have had Mom in our lives.
Please join us in celebrating our Mothers' life on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at St. Gabriel's Church for 6pm visitation, 7pm rosary. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at St. Gabriel's Church at 11am, followed by internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
