Betty Jean Ashe

Betty Jean (Peterson) Ashe, age 72, of Bothell passed away peacefully on December 4, 2016 at her home of 40 years.

Betty was born in Sedro-Woolley, WA to Ralph and Eveleen Peterson on May 4, 1944. She graduated from Sedro-Woolley High school in 1962 and married her high school sweetheart, Clarence "Bud" Ashe on August 26, 1965. Betty and Bud raised their two children in the home they built in Bothell. Betty worked for many years at Hollywood Hills Elementary in the kitchen and loved the staff and children she was with each day. Betty most enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her granddaughters and newest grandson.

Betty is survived by daughter, Kim and husband Ron Rasmussen; son, Doug and wife Vickie; granddaughters Taryn, Ryann, Lauren, and Miko; grandson Kenzo; sister Peggy Ronk and husband Paul; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence L. Ashe and parents Ralph and Eveleen Peterson.
