BONNIE BAILER CARRIGER  
On Sunday November 27, 2016 from complications related to pancreatic cancer. Bonnie was born and grew up in the Maryland Park suburb of Washington, DC. After graduating from Central High School in 1964, she attended Frostburg State College. She then worked for several years at Human Resources Research Organization (HUMMRO) in Alexandria, VA. She moved to Miami in 1973. Over the next 30-plus years she worked in the registrar's office at several schools in the Miami Dade County school system, including Kenwood Elementary, Kilian High and Palmetto High. She was praised many times over those years for her extraordinary support for teachers, students, parents and staff. In the early 1980's, she developed and taught a basic course on computers for elementary school children. Bonnie is survived by her son, Dr. John F. Carriger, Jr. of Cincinnati and a brother, Jack Bailer of Silver Spring, MD.  Friday, January, 6 a memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 9200 SW 107th Avenue, Miami, FL.
