Burkard; loving mother of Peggy McVicar (Doug), Maureen Higgins (Steve), John Burkard (Anne), Michael Burkard (Denise), Martin Burkard (Mindy Dunne) and the late Mary Ellen Davis (David); grandmother of Kelly McVicar Lynn (Christopher), Ryan Kirton-Davis (Taylor), Matthew McVicar (Stephanie), Patrick Davis (Lauren Lachenmayer), Maggie McVicar, Brian Burkard, Shannon Davis, Melissa Davis, Kayla Burkard, Owen Burkard, Grace Burkard, Sean Burkard and Joel Burkard; great-grandmother of Brady Lynn. A Funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8710 Mt. Vernon Highway, Alexandria, VA 22309 on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery at 1 p.m. The family invites all to join them at 2PM for a reception at Sine Irish Pub.
