ALLAN ALTMAN, a great man, son of Elsie Siegel Altman and Leo Altman. passed on December 30. Brother of Rhoda and Earle. Devoted husband of Marcia Edelman Altman. Adored father of Steven and Michael (Laurie). Proud grandfather of Daniel, Jessica, Stephanie, Natalie and Zachary. He was a brilliant, highly respected attorney, who began his career at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. Trusted friend, avid tennis player, golfer and car enthusiast, who loved to study archaeology, physics, law and justice. He was a man of the highest moral fiber. A U.S. Marine, who was awarded The American Spirit Honor Medal for his service. He will be lovingly remembered by many whose lives he touched.
