Agnes Kaufmann Loving wife, mother, and grandmother, 'she was an inspiration' Agnes Kaufmann (nee Kreiner) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, in Creekside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carbondale, Pa. Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Wilfred Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, N.J. 07032. Interment will be private. Agnes was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Nemetbasya, Hungary, to Johann and Barbara Kreiner. Her strength in dealing with her illness and dedication to her family was an inspiration. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Agnes was active as a Girl Scout leader, volunteered at Holy Spirit Church and was a loving caregiver to all her grandchildren. She loved to cook, sew and garden. She and her husband Michael loved to dance, especially the "polka." She was predeceased by her parents, Johann and Barbara Kreiner, and her beloved brothers, Joseph, John and George. She is survived by her husband, Michael, and beloved children, Hannelore and husband John, Monica and husband Bill, Michael and fiancee Susanna. She is also survived by her brother, Helmut. She was a proud grandmother to Christoffer and wife Pamela, Monika, Melissa, Amanda and William, and great-grandmother to Sadie, Madison, Baylie, and Abigail.
