Ambrose N. MaininiSept. 16, 1925 - Dec. 19, 2016Ambrose Mainini died Monday, December 19, 2016 in his Menlo Park home. Mr. Mainini is survived by his wife, Mary Mainini , his children: Dan Mainini and wife Glenna Jean, and Janet Manger and husband Alex; his step-children: Kathleen Marsh and husband Bob, and Laurie Fenech; his grandchildren: Kerry, Eric, Jason, Lauren, Alea, Justin, Kelly, John, Melissa, Jessica, Dominic and Kyle. A daughter in law Jan Mainini, his niece Nancy Scuitto and husband Rich, as well as 13 great-grandchildren also survive him. He was preceded in death by his son John Mainini.
Mr. Mainini was proud of his service as a US Army Paratrooper during World War II. He loved dancing, San Francisco Giants baseball and 49ers Football, and of course family.
Friends may call for visitation Wednesday between 5 pm and 7 pm with a Vigil Service at 7 pm. A funeral mass will follow on Thursday at 11 am. Private interment will be at Italian Cemetery.
