1930 - 2016 "Tony" Magliari: Born and raised in Los Angeles. Attended George Washington High School, UCLA and USC and served in the Air Force Reserve in 1951-54. Received his doctorate in education from USC in 1971. Served his entire career in education as a teacher (Hawthorne and Riverside), school principal and ultimately superintendent of the South Lake Tahoe, La Mesa-Spring Valley (San Diego County) and Ridgecrest, Calif., school districts. Retired in 1991. Passed away June 14, 2016. Forever in our hearts and thoughts. Rest in peace.
