Albert D. Triano Jr. Longtime Rahway resident, enjoyed vacations at Lavallette with his family Albert D. Triano Jr., 83, of Rahway, N.J., passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. Born and raised in Elizabeth, N.J., he attended Jefferson High School. He resided in Rahway since 1964. Visitation will be at Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, N.J., on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be from the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. John the Apostle Church in Clark. Mr. Triano was a veteran, having served with the U.S. Army as a cook during the Korean War. He worked as a construction worker with the International Laborer's Union Local No. 394 in Elizabeth for over 50 years, spending the majority of that time working with Wilhelm Construction Co. in Elizabeth. Al enjoyed spending time tinkering with his cars and could often be found in the garage fixing something. He was a horse racing enthusiast and enjoyed trips to both Monmouth and Delaware Park. Above all else, Al enjoyed spending time with his family. Some of his most treasured memories came from spending his summer vacations with the family down the shore in Lavallette. He is survived by his loving wife, Regina Dudek Triano; his daughter, Judith Lynn Symonds and her husband, Daniel; his son, Albert A. Triano and his wife, Lisa, and his four beloved grandchildren, Danny and Jaimee Symonds and Angela and Sofia Triano. He is also survived by his sister, Catherine Pyontek and her husband, Joseph, and his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
