Annie Laura Bostic Much loved centenarian Annie Laura (Lassiter) Bostic, age 103, made her transition on Dec. 7, 2016. Born in Eufaula, Ala., she was a resident of Westfield, N.J. A celebration of her life will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Whigham Funeral Home, 580 Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Blvd., Newark, N.J. Interment: Fairmount Cemetery, Newark. Visitation is Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Annie was the beloved wife of the late Floyd Bostic Sr., and mother of the late Floyd Bostic Jr.; dear daughter of the late Rosa and Zachariah Lassiter; loving sister of Samuel Lassiter; mother-in-law of Alma Bostic; cherished grandmother of Janet, Rodney Sr. (Cora), and Victoria, 11 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by extended family and friends from the Genisis Nursing Home. She was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters.
