Adam David Hastings
1974 ~ 2016
On December 2, 2016, Adam returned home to his loving Heavenly Father. He was born August 6, 1974 to David Hastings and Claudia Christensen.
Adam was an accomplished artist having won several awards in school for his paintings and drawings, and was also a master welder. After graduating from Alta High School, he completed the welding program at SLCC with excellence. He spent many years working in construction building homes with his friend and mentor, Richard Kirton Jr. Adam also spent countless afternoons giving acts of service to his grandparents and neighbors, and riding his motorcycle in the family's back pasture. He will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his father David Hastings of Draper; mother Claudia Barrett and stepfather Donald Barrett of South Jordan; sisters Brooke Hastings Gordon and Marcie Hastings; grandmother Barbara Christensen Manwill (Bert); nieces Megan and Paige Gordon, nephew Joshua Gordon, and many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Reo and Norma Hastings and grandfather Kent Christensen.
A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East, Draper, Utah. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah. www.goffmortuary.com
