Arline Gabbot Bendixen passed away December 2, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born on May 12, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lillian Hooper Gabbott and John Twiggs Gabbott. She grew up in Salt Lake City, and graduated from South High School. She was sealed to Keith Erhardt Bendixen in the Salt Lake Temple on Sept 28, 1953.
She was an active member of the LDS Church where she served as ward librarian. She loved to sing and sang in the ward choir. She was a contributing member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Although she was a stay at home mom for most of her life, she served those in need as a home health aide. She was a wonderful wife and mother to 6 children, grandmother to 8, and great-grandmother to 6.
Arline is survived by her children: Robert Bendixen, Marcella Bendixen, Marsha Bendixen, Rose (Norm) Sackett, Bonnie (Richard) Bolton and John Bendixen. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, and 6 sisters.
Viewings and service will be held in the Kearns South Stake Center, Kearns 7th Ward, 5905 South 4000 West, Kearns, Utah. The viewings will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2016 and from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Friday December 9, 2016. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM on Thursday.
