AMELIA A. BOYD (Age 90)  
Of Silver Spring, MD, formerly of Oakland, CA, Winston-Salem, NC and Seneca, SC departed this life on Saturday, November 26, 2016. Amelia is survived by daughter, Lynn Jefferson, extended family, daughter, Judy Cheron Moore; niece and nephew, Eleanor Jefferson and Donald Jefferson; grandsons, Benjamin Matthew Jackson and Darryl Jackson; a host of other relatives and friends. Amelia will be remembered as a vibrant, loving, educator, leader and friend. We will miss her. Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 6 at Peoples Congregational United Church of Christ, 4704 - 13th St., NW, Washington, DC 20011, viewing, 9:30 a.m. until hour of service at 10:30 a.m. Interment follows at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, 12800 Veirs Mill Rd., Rockville, MD 20853.
