Bethine Leone Bulla Dossey, 92, resident of Cedarwood Assisted Living, Sandy, UT, passed away on February 14, 2020. She was born August 4, 1927 to Ethel and Leon Bulla in Ansley, NE. She graduated high school in Walla Walla, WA and attended Washington State in Pullman. Married Gene Dossey on August 3, 1947 in Walla Walla. They moved to Salt Lake City in 1974.

She had a lifelong interest in writing and was a reporter for the Valley Times in Beaverton, OR. Bethine was a Group Leader for the Bluebirds and Camp Fire Girls and active in the PTA. An accomplished seamstress, doll maker, collector of antique dolls and member of the Olympus Doll club. She loved to sing, enjoying music and the arts. An avid reader, she participated in the Senior Center Book and Writing Clubs. Bethine traveled overseas with friends and with her grandchildren to Elderhostels.

Survived by her children Steven (Donna), Mark (Kim), Marla (John) and Shannon (Kelly), grandchildren Alexandria, Kam, Austin, Celeste, Andrew and Blake, great grandchildren Aiden, Elora and Fig. Preceded in death by her husband Gene, brother Jamie and sisters Winifred and Jeannette.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the or the would be appreciated.
