Beloved husband of Elizabeth Settle, he was the devoted father of Clarence D. Settle, Neely Hackett, Marc D. Settle (Michelle), Katherine Lovell (Elijah) and Carla Cuff (Anthony); dear son of the late Paul and Catherine Settle; brother of the late Laura, Leonard and Paul Settle.
A private celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Whigham Funeral Home, 580 Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd, Newark, N.J.
