Navy veteran, heavy equipment operator, NJ state champion deep sea fisherman, formerly of Union County, 'kind and caring'
Adam E. "Eddie" Juzefyk, age 91, of Cape Coral, Fla., passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020, at the Hope Hospice of Cape Coral, Fla.
Born in Elizabeth, N.J., to John and Nancy Juzefyk, Mr. Juzefyk resided in Elizabeth; Clark, N.J., and most recently Cape Coral, Fla., for the past six years. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1946 as a diesel mechanic and was proud of helping maintain all of our country's planes in the air.
Mr. Juzefyk worked as a heavy equipment operator for 48 years in the family business, Peter Juzefyk & Bros. Demolition of Elizabeth. He was an avid deep sea fisherman and was the NJ champion five out of six years for the largest striped bass. Mr. Juzefyk was a kind and caring, always giving up his time for others and would drop everything to help anyone.
All funeral services are private and under the care and direction of the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, N.J. 07066.
Mr. Juzefyk is survived by one son,Tom, and his wife, Judy; one daughter, Nancy Reis and her husband Albert; one brother, Joseph and his wife, Betty; sister-in-law, Dorothy Juzefyk; granddaughter, Cassie Juzefyk; and many cousins.
He was predeceased by his beloved wives, Barbara (2015) and Roberta (1972); three brothers, Peter, Michael, and John; and three sisters, Mary Peterson, Dolly Davis, and Helen DiCellis.
