Cynthia Denise McMillan, a.k.a. Neese, made her transition on Feb. 24, 2020.
Cynthia received her BA and retired from Kean University.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Josephine McMillan and William Hansey; loving sister of Robbie Ligon, Sharon and Robert McMillan, and also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins other relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Whigham Funeral Home, 580 Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd., Newark, N.J. Interment is in Fairmount Cemetery, Newark, N.J. Visitation is on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
