Longtime Jersey City resident; grandmother of four
Charlotte Fischer, 98, of Verona, N.J., and a longtime resident of Jersey City, N.J., passed away on Dec. 27, 2019.
She was the beloved wife of the late Leo E. Fischer, M.D.; dear mother of Stuart Fischer, M.D. and his wife, Doreen, and Donald Fischer. Charlotte is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Anna, Sara, Lisa, and Spencer.
Mrs. Fischer was a longtime member of Temple Sholom of West Essex, N.J., and Temple Beth El of Jersey City. She enjoyed being a member of Mountain Ridge Country Club, West Caldwell, N.J.
A funeral service will be held today, Dec. 31, at 9:30 a.m., at the Menorah Chapels at Millburn, 2950 Vauxhall Rd., Union, N.J.
