Arietta Maxine Valenti

Arietta Maxine Valenti, 85, passed away peacefully at Medical City Dallas on Dec. 7, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. Arietta was born on July 22, 1934 in Jones Mills, PA to the late Andrew Julian an Esther Keller Deline. In addition to her parents, Arietta was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ret. Col. Fred Valenti and son, Frederick A. Valenti.

Arietta was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, serving as a Minister of Hospitality and past President of the Women's Guild. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a career U.S Army Officer's wife for 34 yrs., where she served in many capacities. In 1974, she was voted Military Wife of the Year.

She is survived by her daughters, Tonya Scott, Michele Strykert (Ron), and Amber White (Tim). 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; sisters Carol Brendle (Joe) and Arla Schattgen (Albert), daughter-in-law Melissa Valenti, along with many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the . A Celebration of Life Service for Arietta will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, January 3, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 600 S Jupiter Rd. Richardson, Tx 75081. Attendees are asked to wear her favorite color purple or bright colors.
