Audrey Clark of Somerset, N.J., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020, at Hackettstown Medical Center in Hackettstown, N.J. She was 84 years old.
Mrs. Clark was born in Rahway, N.J., and lived there as a child. She graduated from St. Mary's Grammar School in Rahway, and St. Peter's High School in New Brunswick, N.J. She also attended St. Peter's School of Nursing in New Brunswick.
Mrs. Clark kept a comfortable home for her husband and sons. She was a voracious reader and crossword enthusiast. She was an animal lover and enjoyed traveling with her family.
Mrs. Clark was predeceased by her husband, Colin Clark, in 2004. She was also predeceased by her brother, John Bacek. She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Roger Clark and Sandy of Toms River, N.J., Christopher Clark and Corinne of Budd Lake, N.J., and John Jeff Clark and Melanie of North Carolina. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John, Joanna, Kristina, and Gabriella.
Visiting will be held at the Gleason Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, and a funeral service will take place on Thursday, Jan. 9, at 10 a.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home. Committal services will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rahway. Contributions in Mrs. Clark's name may be made to the at or the Franklin Township Animal Shelter, 475 DeMott Ln., Somerset, N.J. 08873.
