Annie Terry Flournoy made her transition on Dec. 12, 2019.
Former First Lady of Sardis Temple Baptist Church, she was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Ovis Flournoy; devoted mother of Barbara Flournoy Williams (Noble Williams); the loving sister of Mary Louise Brummell and Fred Terry; the cherished grandmother of two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Divinity Missionary Baptist Church, 227 Tremont Ave., East Orange, N.J. Interment is at Fairmount Cemetery, Newark, N.J. Visitation is on Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Whigham Funeral Home.
