Abdell Johnson of Newark, N.J., born Dec. 5, 1975, passed away Nov. 24, 2019. Services will be private.
Abdell was the youngest son of Castordell and Brenda Johnson. He is survived by his father, Castordell; sisters, Linda Johnson-Bartee (Emmanuel), Tammeka Stevenson, Torrie Goar (Charles), Bernidine Johnson (Robert) and Bernidetta Johnson; brothers, Dwayne Mutakabbir and Wordell Phelps and his longtime partner, Lisa Leeks; their son, Jamal, and her family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Johnson; sister, Sylvia Johnson and brother, Castordell Johnson Jr.
Snap, as most called him, was well known in the community and helped everyone he crossed paths with. He will be missed.
