Calvin Kenneth Sacks, 82, of Southern California, sadly passed away November 10, 2019.
Born on January 24, 1937 in Santa Monica, California, he was the middle child of his parents, Jeanne & Sydney Sacks. He married Marilynn Goldstein on August 18, 1957 and they shared 62 years of marriage together. They happily raised their 3 kids and ran several successful businesses in Southern California. He proudly served in the Marine Corps from 1954 to 1957. Happiest on the ocean though, he spent much of his time on his fishing boat either chasing albacore and marlin with his closest friends or just spending family time in Catalina. In 2014, Calvin & Marilynn retired and moved to Palm Desert.
He is survived by his wife, Marilynn, his 3 children, Joseph, Cathy & James, his grandson, Austin, his 2 siblings Ronald & Sandra, and his loving Dachshund, Annie.
He remains in all our hearts and a Celebration of Life Memorial will be taking place in the coming weeks.
At Calvin's request, his ashes will be laid to rest at sea.
