Anne Elaine Duran

Died

DURAN, Anne Elaine Anne Elaine Duran, nee Anne Elaine Adams, of Dallas, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 29, 2019 after her courageous battle with bile duct cancer. She was attended to at her moment of death by her oldest brother Sam Adams and his wife Carla, along with Carl Rich, her affirmed friend, angel, and advocate. Anne spent her life devoted to animals of all kinds and to being kind to other people, whether they returned the favor or not. She always had a big smile on her face even in her pain and suffering and was more concerned with other people's feelings than her own. During her numerous stays in the hospital she would tell each nurse how comforted they made her feel, and should she have to come back she hoped to have their care again. Anne is survived on this Earth by the aforementioned Sam and Carla Adams, her other older brother Bill Adams and his wife Maureen, her Uncle Jarrel and Aunt Tonya Calhoun, niece Megan Brown and husband Ross and twin daughters Charlotte and Madeline, nephew Michael Adams and his wife McCall and daughter Mary Elizabeth, niece Molly Briskie and her husband Bobby, and of course, her best friend Emma, her cat. In her last show of selflessness Anne donated her body to the UT Southwestern system for further research into this rare form of cancer. Please consider donating in her name to the SPCA, UT Southwestern for further research, or to Parkland Hospital whose doctors and nurses took such good care of her.
