A talented Mr. Fix-It who enjoyed time on his deck with family
Anthony Schillaci, 58, lifelong Glen Ridge resident, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at his home, surrounded by his family.
A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 4 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair, N.J. Entombment at Glendale Cemetery to follow. Visiting is Friday, May 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St., Montclair.
Anthony worked at Selecto Flash for over 30 years; the remainder of his career was spent with FLM Graphics. Anthony was a talented Mr. Fix-It, a skilled painter; he loved to build, create, and work on projects. He enjoyed sitting on the deck and spending time with his loved ones. Anthony especially looked forward to driving down the shore and enjoying his annual family vacation at Wildwood.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Ximena (nee Balarezo), his son, Anthony G. Schillaci, his daughter, Jennifer Balarezo, and future son-in- law, Denton Schroeder, and by his sister, Annette McCabe, goddaughter and niece, Courtney Drenga and her husband, Chris.
