Anne Keane Lonto, 95, of Verona N.J., passed away on April 27, 2019.
Viewing will be held Monday, April 29, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave. (Rt. 23), Cedar Grove, N.J. 07009.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Cedar Grove. Relatives and friends may gather in the funeral home at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair, N.J.
Anne was born and raised in New York City. She moved to Cedar Grove and ultimately retired to Verona. She was a parishioner at St. Catherine's for over 50 years.
Anne worked for the Board of Elections in New York City for many years. Her banking career included working for AT&T, National Citibank and Cedar Grove Savings and Loan. She was a longtime volunteer at many St. Catherine functions.
Anne was a person of great faith and devotion and had a profound influence on family and friends.
She was predeceased by James, her loving husband of 66 years; her dear son, Christopher and her brother, John L. Keane. She was the devoted mother of Karen Ann Oak (Jon) and MaryAnne Rowe (Jeff) and the loving grandmother of Ashley and Michael Rowe.
