Beatrice Lang, 97, of Newark, N.J., passed away peacefully on July 4, 2019.
Born in Kenbridge, Va., Beatrice resided in Newark for over 95 years.
Beatrice was predeceased by her husband, Floyd "Poppa Stoppa" Lang. She is survived by their loving children, Alice, Floyd Jr., Kalen, Lawrence, Beverly, Sharon, Lori, Anthony, Cecilia Murphy and Carolyn Veltz; 28 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Woody "Home For Services," 163 Oakwood Ave., Orange, N.J. Visitation is at the funeral home Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment is in Rosedale Cemetery in Orange.
